Directions to Festival Park

From Western North Carolina

Follow U.S. 64 East to Manteo. After crossing the Virginia Dare Bridge, turn left at the first stoplight, 64 Business. Follow this into the town of Manteo. Turn right at the stoplight onto Budleigh Street. Go to the end of Budleigh and at the stop sign, turn left. The road will end at the Tranquil House Inn. Turn right on Ananius Dare Street and cross over the short bridge. You are now on the 27- acre site of Roanoke Island Festival Park.

From Points North- Richmond, VA and Washington, DC

Follow I-64 to Hampton, Virginia. Go South on I-664 through the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel. Take I-64 towards Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Outer Banks. Take exit 291 toward Outer Banks. This will empty into Highway 158 South, which will take you to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  Then, follow directions below from Nags Head.

From Nags Head, North Carolina

Follow 158 By-pass to Highway 64 toward Manteo. You will cross over the smaller Melvin Daniels Bridge and then the Washington-Baum Bridge. Take a right at the stoplight, 64 Business. Follow this into the town of Manteo. Turn right at the stoplight onto Budleigh Street. Go to the end of Budleigh and at the stop sign, turn left. The road will end at the Tranquil House Inn. Turn right on Ananius Dare Street and cross over the short bridge. You are now on the 27- acre site of Roanoke Island Festival Park.

Our shuttle stop is Manteo Elementary School. The shuttle drops off and picks up at the venue main entrance.
 
We encourage ARRIVING BY TAXI, RIDE-SHARING, CARPOOLING WITH A DESIGNATED DRIVER AND ANY OTHER DROP OFF AND PICK UP SERVICE.

Parking & Shuttle Information

The venue has limited on-site parking and is first come, first serve.
If you are driving in we suggest parking at one of our Free Shuttle Stops:
 

DO NOT PARK ON DEVON ST, CROATAN ST., JOHN BORDEN ST. AND MOST TOWN STREETS.

PARK IN ONLY DESIGNATED PARKING SPACES IN THE TOWN OF MANTEO.

PLEASE NO TAILGATING, BUT DO COME EARLY AND ENJOY OUR AWESOME LOCAL SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS IN OUR QUAINT DOWNTOWN ON THE WATER. Fun things to do in downtown Manteo

 
BOAT DOCKING AND DROP OFFS ARE PROHIBITED AT ROANOKE ISLAND FESTIVAL PARK ON EVENT DAYS.

 

Carpooling is encouraged.
